North Bengal, heritage path & the inspiring destination
Bangladesh, being a small country has many historical remains around the country from North to South and East to West. But North Bengal is the richest area for different monuments, historic buildings, temples, mosque and museum. Mahasthangarh is a metropolis of 4th century BC, Paharpur is the single largest Buddhist monastery in the world and a UNESCO world heritage. Day 01: Arrival
Arrive Dhaka & transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Dhaka City
Dhaka city Tour. Visit to Lalbag Mughal fort, Dhakeswari Temple, Curzon Hall, Sahid Minar and Parliament Building; also visit Aarong a fascinating store for Bangladeshi handicrafts, Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Dhaka-Bogra-Paharpur:
Drive to Bogra (4 hrs. drive). Visit to Mahasthangarh (ancient archeological and historical place established in 3-4 century BC). Further drive to Paharpur (inscribed as a UNESCO world Heritage Site). Visit to ruins of Buddhist Vihara, single largest monastery in the world, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Bogra-Rajshahi-Dhaka:
Morning drive to Rajshahi to visit Varendra Museum, Enroute visit temple town at Puthia. Return to Dhaka & Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Transfer:
Morning transfer to the airport for onward destination.
